FLUITŌ : to float or to overflow

For the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham we produced and created an immersive installation collaborating with artist Georgia Tucker & The Commonwealth Institute.

Fluitō is an interactive outdoor public art installation inviting participants to explore the different layers of aquatics. Fluitō showcases the agility of elite swimmers, the positive mental impact of swimming, water inequality within Commonwealth nations and ocean pollution. Through a maze of projection, soundscapes, mirrors, visuals and film, Fluitō integrates the virtual with the physical to create a transfixing immersive experience.
